Aims
We study the cognitive and neural basis of speech production humans. We are particularly interested in how people use auditory feedback to control the way they speak: What is the role of conscious sensation of one’s own voice in shaping how we speak? To what extent does the brain automatically and unconsciously adjust the way we speak? Through our research we aim to better understand how speech deficits arise, and how they can be best treated.
