OLVI Foundation Neurochallenge is a three-day intensive 48-hour innovation competition in Kuopio held at Microkatu, Savonia University of Applied Sciences / Novapolis campus. In 2025, the teams developed solutions to promote brain health and mental wellbeing among working-aged people, with a particular emphasis on individuals over 55 years.

Seven multidisciplinary teams from across Finland took part in the competition, combining expertise from science, design, healthcare and technology. The most valuable outcomes of the event were the mentoring received, the new networks and collaboration opportunities that were formed, and the concrete steps taken toward advancing the development of the solutions.

The event will return again in 2026.
