Welcoming TBMC’s New Development Manager

NEWS FROM TURKU BRAIN AND MIND CENTER

Turku Brain & Mind Center (TBMC) is thrilled to announce its new development manager, Suvi Sundqvist, who joined the team in October. Suvi obtained her Master’s Degree in Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience (specializing in Neuroeconomics) from Maastricht University, where she also worked as a Research Intern at the Department of Cognitive Neuroscience. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from Åbo Akademi University, with a major in International Marketing and a minor in Psychology. Previously, she also worked in varying customer service and science communications roles, among others.

“I am honoured and excited to have the opportunity to leverage my communications, management, organizational, and networking expertise – along with my passion for Neuroscience – to contribute to the strategic objectives of TBMC. I’m looking forward to both expanding my expertise in the Neuroscience research environment and exploring national network collaboration. Why not internationally as well!”

In her new position, Suvi will play a key role in Neurocenter Finland’s efforts to advance research and innovation in Neuroscience in the Turku area. She will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, managing partnerships and collaborations, and overseeing the development of new programs and initiatives.
